In numerology, the number representing each year of a cycle has significance and meaning. More and more spas are incorporating numerology into their treatments to help balance the body's energy.

Ten years is a big milestone in the life of a company, or spa in this case. So when Texas-based ZaSpa at Hotel Zaza hit their 10th anniversary, they knew it was time to celebrate in a big way. Rolling out 10 unique treatments—one to celebrate each year—there is something for every one. And these aren’t your average spa treatments!

All of the treatments are based on numerology. Each number represents a different year of a cycle and corresponds to a different energy center, or chakra, in the body. To give you an idea, here’s a breakdown of what you can expect with each treatment:

Year One: Fresh Beginnings
This 50- or 80-minute treatment represents a new beginning and fresh start. This massage uses the essences of rosemary, cypress and ginger to awaken, stimulate and focus the chakra. During the massage, mint and camphor extracts are also applied to your torso and neck.

Year Two: Joyful Connection
This 50- or 80-minute massage is designed to help love and other partnerships blossom. It utilizes citrus essences, long strokes and facial energy point therapy to help you relax, feel comfortable and open to connections.

Year Three: Stress Free Living
This 80-minute “body cocoon” helps stimulate the third chakra, or solar plexus, with the help of organic lemon peel, chamomile and amber essence. Its goal is to help you unwind while it also helps you think clearly. It includes a shea butter exfoliating mask, wrap, soothing neck and shoulder massage, followed by a cleansing shower and full-body massage.

Year Four: Focused Relief
Since the fourth year can often be challenging, the goal of this 80-minute massage is to release tension and balance the sixth chakra, or the brow. It uses compressions and stretching as well as deep myo-facial strokes to help you relax.

Year Five: Grateful Abundance
As the year of energy and happiness, this 80-minute “body cocoon” uses pink grapefruit to energize the first chakra, or the root. It starts with exfoliation and a warm full body massage and is followed with being wrapped in a healing and hydrating cocoon.

Year Six: Your Heart, Your Home
Either 50-or 80-minutes, the goal of this massage is to bring you a sense of emotional security by stimulating the fourth chakra, or the heart. It incorporates rose and geranium essences and a full-body massage with long, flowing strokes. It’s finished with focusing on facial energy points to tone and lift.

Year Seven: Ancient Stones
This 50- or 80-minute heated stone massage was created to help you rest, reflect and calm the fifth chakra, or the throat. It uses cinnamon and peppermint essential oils to help you focus and stay positive.

Year Eight: Searching Within
The goal of this 50- or 80-minute massage is to center the seventh chakra, or the crown. You’ll enjoy long strokes from head to toe and vetiver essential oil to help you relax and flourish.

Year Nine: Rebalanced Cleansing
To prepare you for what to come, this 50- or 80-minute massage is long and slow to relax the muscles and the sixth chakra. It uses lemongrass essential oil to get rid of toxins and make you feel calm.

Year Ten: Ultimate Bliss
This 80-minute treatment signifies the beginning of a new cycle. You’ll experience a rainbow massage that will help harmonize all seven chakras, align your energy and help you relax.
