A Saner Way To Shave

I consider shaving my legs to be a chore. I still remember how excited I was to be able to do it for the first time as a teen, and all I can think now is WHY?! I don't like anything about it. I'm not good at it, and I usually need bandages when I'm finished. Shaving cream was never something I paid all that much attention to. Growing up, I would even use my brother's or my dad's if I ran out. I've even tried using conditioner instead. All I can say about that is there is a reason men and women have different shaving creams. Word to the wise: Save the conditioner for the hair on your head, not your legs.

However, after finally replacing my obnoxiously girly-smelling, rusty stain-causing can of shaving cream with First Aid Beauty's Smooth Shave Cream, I kind of have the shaving thing under control. I wish this gentle, non-irritating, fragrance-free shaving cream came into my life earlier. It actually minimizes nicks and razor irritation and includes ingredients to soften, smooth and moisturize. Tea tree oil helps to heal and soothe the skin while bisabolol provides anti-inflammatory action. Added bonus: It comes in a bottle not a can-so no ring of rust left in the shower.
