“Every person who comes into our practice receives personal, customized care,” says Dr. Alster, an internationally recognized expert in the field of cosmetic dermatology and consultant to Lancôme. Working with her co-director, Dr. Tanzi, the duo uses the most creating individualized treatment plans based on what they observe and what each patient wants. “Everyone’s skin is different,” says Dr. Tanzi, who is a consultant to L’Oréal USA. “There’s no one way to treat wrinkles.” The practice prides itself on always staying on the cutting edge of cosmetic dermatology, which is important in a field where the sky’s the limit in terms of new advancements.
The doctors’ passion for staying up-to the-moment means that their patients can expect not just one type of laser treatment option, but a variety of treatments and lasers. “If you only have access to one device, you’re always going to prescribe that particular tool,” says Dr. Alster. “We use numerous lasers in addition to other
systems, so we have a huge toolbox of treatment options available.”
