Rosacea remains one of the most difficult skin conditions to treat, but recent years have seen advancements in prescription and light-based treatment options.
Though there’s no cure, oral antibiotics such as Oracea and topical treatments like Finacea are effective for reducing the inflammation and redness associated with rosacea. Many dermatologists initially prescribe both oral and topical antibiotics until symptoms are under control, and then recommend topical treatment for the long-term.
